Daily Routine
Domestic check list to be completed daily by our house sitters:
Evening
- Ensure suitable lighting levels ars available, ensure that curtains
are drawn
- Heating system turned on to agreed level
- All doors locked prior to retiring, check all windows to ensure that
they are closed and locked
- Final check to ensure that all appliances are safely turned off
- Check that the intruder alarm (if applicable) is turned on
- Ensure that the house in kept in a clean and tidy manner
Morning
- Check that all doors remain secure, also windows
- Check external (walk around the house) to ensure that no attempt has
been made to gain entry
- Check post, ensuring all mail is secured in the house, check e-mails
(if required)
- Carry out daily tasks as directed (basic housekeeping)
- If other trades are carrying out works by agreement, ensure that
security is maintained, along with standards demanded by the Company
- All improvement works will be inspected by a company officer
Security of the property is of paramount importance, always ensure this
aspect is given maximum attention. Treat the property as your own.
